July 2010 Booties

This is another pair of booties that I made in... err, end of June, but were fully completed in early July. Not that they are complicated; in fact they are quite the opposite, actually. It's just me who is a slow-knitter, I guess, and have to admit that being quite a perfectionist makes matters worst in a way. But look at the booties:

... aren't they just adorable?  ( Sorry again, these are also taken... )

How much do you charge for them? Do you do adult sizes? Is it hot to wear knitted stuff (sweater etc)?

Hi AF,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Sorry to disappoint you but for the time being I only do small projects as time permits. Perhaps I can try adult slippers by end of the year; when I can spend more time on bigger projects. Knitted stuff can be warm, depending on the thickness and material used.. and of course the weather! You can choose from variety of yarns, but the majority of comfortable/wearable yarns cannot be found in the local stores (at least in my hometown). Hey, you travel a lot, right? Buzz me when you bumped into a yarn store! ;-)
*PM me should you really want something knitted/crocheted... I'll see if I can spare some weekends coz I'm a weekend knitter :D

must admit that i don't generally look out for some things when i travel and that include yarn stores! i do notice material/textile stores but don't think i've come upon a yarn store. or do haberdashers carry yarns as well?

he he.. that, I understand! ;-)
Haberdashers may have stocks on acrylic yarns but I doubt if they sell other types of yarns. You can find online stores, but sometimes shipping costs more than the yarn I eyed for! LOL
